IIM Bangalore Ranked # 1 B-School In India in Global Survey

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has been recognized for the second consecutive year as No. 1 Business School in India, part of the Central Asian region, according to the 2009 world conducted business school rankings Eduniversal, a unit of the French consulting firm SMBG.
In 2009, IIMB been Eduniversal Palmes Palmes '5 ', the highest award in the assessment, granted to "excellent universal business schools with major international influence".
The award, on 26 Eduniversal October 2009 at the World Convention held in Cape Town presented South Africa effectively IIMB positions among the top 100 business schools worldwide.
Remarkably, the deans of the 1000 Best Business Schools in 153 countries for IIMB with a recommendation of 395 per thousand, from IIM Ahmedabad (345), followed have chosen.
The Palmes Eduniversal uses a comprehensive methodology, taking into account all aspects of business schools' influence on three different levels:
International recognition of accreditations, memberships and international, regional and local rankingsThe international awareness through the voices of 1,000 deansThe suggestions from the members of the International Scientific Committee appointed by Eduniversal
"We're pleased to again receive this recognition as a top management of the Indian school," says Professor Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIMB. "We are making various efforts to improve the quality of learning and to improve the impact of our research so that IIMB is the preferred management school for students with global ambitions."
The process of Eduniversal Official Selection includes a global mapping system, the criteria of universality and the international reputation of each university. The purpose of the "Palmes" is to objectively compare one school in a given country or continent to another.
