Duration : 3 years (6 Semesters)
The Department of BBM was established in the year 1998 to provide high-quality management education to a wide cross-section of students across the world. The department has a reputation for innovative programme design, up-to-date curriculum, quality courseware, personalized instruction and strong industry interface. In a short span of time, BBM has grown impressively and achieved widespread recognition from industry and academic circles.
The programme is designed to provide knowledge and skills, both functional and integrative, in the field of business with emphasis on leadership, entrepreneurship and ethics. In order to incorporate the mission of the institute the department focuses on developing an entrepreneurial society with professional orientation and global outlook deep-rooted in social sensitivity.
Eligibility
Pass in PUC or any other equivalent examination. Students with good communication skills are preferred.
Programme Highlights
Teaching Methodology : goes far beyond the chalk and the talk, with case studies, student seminars and technology driven aids to nurture self confidence.
Simulation exercises : like management games, role plays, team building exercises and so on have been introduced to facilitate learning through entertainment and enactment. Besides, business lab is established to stimulate business processes.
Industrial Exposure : industrial interface through guest lectures and industrial visits are conducted to develop corporate skills in the student.
Induction and Orientation : is conducted to familiarize students with the subject and the campus as they come from varied backgrounds.
Club activities : is an integral part of the curriculum designed to provide a platform for sharpening their managerial skills.
Community services : societal duties and responsibilities are inculcated through community service programs.
News letter : annual newsletter is published showcasing the talents of the students.
Mentoring : aids the student in his/her all round individual development.
Management fest, Workshops and Seminars : students are encouraged to organize and participate in intra, inter departmental seminars and intercollegiate fests to enhance their skills and to update with the latest happening in the corporate world in the field of management.
Augmentation :In addition to the curriculum the following Certification programs is designed by the department to bridge the gap between academia and industry with a vision to develop competencies on par with global requirements.
