Inroduction About Christ University

Christian University was formerly Christ College (Autonomous) connected to Bangalore University. Founded in July 1969, Christ College, was the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bangalore in the first three decades. From 1990 is scalable from heights heights. With the introduction of innovative and modern curriculum, insisting on acedmic discipline, mediation of Holistic Education and with the help of creative and dedicated employees, Christ College has continuously rated among the top 10 educational institutions in the country. He has the rare distinction for the first institution in Karnataka, which will be accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NaAc) UGC for quality education. On 7 October 2004, UGC has to be Autonomy, a Christian College (No. F.13-1/2004) was adopted.
On 20 May 2005, it was the first college to be reaccredited in South India with A + by NAAC. UGC has identified it as an institution with potential for excellence in June 2006.
22nd July 2008 is the most glorious day in the history of the institution. According to § 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government of India, vide notification No. F. 9-34/2007-U.3 (A), has said it will be as a university, in the name and style of the Christian University.
